For the last few weeks we have done shows on the use of Evernote in the desktop space. But that is not the end, we can also talk about the use on mobile devices, those being the iPhone and iPad. I have been using Evernote for some time now, and now the experience got better. With Evernote for iPhone, allows me to have all the notes that I have taken on my iPhone which gives me the ability to create notes using pictures, or just simple notes. Now with release of the iPad the interface is very intuitive and user friendly.
Now with this addition it adds a ton of usability to my workflow. Now I don’t need to carry my laptop to meetings, i can now take the iPad to the meeting and have the notes sync back to my desktop and laptop with no problems. All of my notes are with me at all times, on my iPhone. Are you an Evernote user? Do you plan to be? Leave something in the comments.

Apple just completed it’s press conference, and with that Steve Jobs announced that Apple will be providing a free case to help alleviate the iPhone antenna issues. That being said I can’t help but wonder why the press is so quick to jump on Apple. The other big story this week is that Consumer Reports said they can’t recommend the iPhone due to the antenna issues, at the same time they also stated that it is the best scored smart phone on the market. The downside is the media jumped on the non-recommendation. I personally don’t own an iPhone 4, not because I am worried about the antenna issue, but because my contract is not up, so I have a 3GS. If given the opportunity I would have the iPhone 4 tomorrow, antenna issue or not.
The other thing that stands out is, why would you not put a case on your phone? I had the first generation iPhone, and put a case on it, so not to scratch it or damage it. The day I got my 3GS I removed my first generation iPhone from the case and it still looked brand new. I am keeping my 3GS in an Otterbox case, not only does it protect my phone, but it also makes the phone easier to hold.
The bottom line is, if you has an iPhone 4, go to apple.com and get your free case. If you don’t you can take it back and get a full refund (as long as the phone is in good shape)
