I would like to see what percentage of the new iPhones actually have an antenna issue. It seems that the media is out for blood, specifically Apple’s blood. I’m not seeing the huge outcry from the users that I would expect if a phone was useless, as the media sometimes portrays this issue. It seems to be repetitious reporting of a select group of occurrences. I understand that this issue, regardless of how large or small the percentage of affected users turns out to be, should be rectified. Or at least acknowledged by Apple. I think that this may be the root of the problem, Apple is not owning up to the issue. Rather they are removing any hint of it from their forums. How can this help? Wouldn’t a simple, ” We are aware that there may be an issue”, type of statement do better than blinders?
